Q. How long will the work take? A. This will obviously depend on the size of the bathroom, normally it will be a few days for a simple cloakroom change to 3 – 4 weeks for a major large complete bathroom refurbishment.
Q. Will I be without a toilet while the work takes place? A. If the work requires renewing your only toilet we will ensure that you have a working toilet available each evening after we finish work, until the new toilet is fitted.
Q. How long will I be without water? A. The water will only be turned off during actual work on the water system, and would normally be only for a few hours at a time.
Q. Will I need to hire a skip for all of the construction waste? A. Yes, but we work closely with a local skip hire company who provide competitive rates.
Q. How have you become so successful all over London? We worked alongside numerous advertising agencies to come up with marketing strategies to promote Scott Builders. OOH advertising was the most efficient and we used a T-Side bus advertisement format. This went around the city for 16 weeks. Click here.
Q. Will there be a lot of dust and mess? A. Dust sheets are laid through out the house from the outside to the work area to minimise dirt being travelled around the house, and the work area will be protected as best as possible against the spread of dust and dirt. We work with local cleaning companies all over the South East including West Sussex who will be able to offer you competitive rates if you require a cleaning service, post construction.
Q. If I am selling my home is it worth getting in some furniture to help make the conversion look a little less bear and a little more homely. A. Good idea there are a number of companies that will hire out furniture by the month that can transform a newly renovated flat in Leeds.
Q. Will all the waste and rubbish be removed?

A. We take care of all waste and ensure that the site is left clean and tidy.
